This Architectural Engineering Senior Thesis Report will investigate the construction of the new 250 Massachusetts Avenue mixed-use building. Included in the  analysis of the overall construction are three in-depth technical analyses proposing changes to the means, methods, and design choices of the project.

 

250 Mass Ave is being constructed on a unique site in the heart of Washington D.C. The $113 million project is the second of five buildings to be constructed as part of the Capitol Crossing Development Project. The following proposal identifies three technical topics and a critical industry issue that will be analyzed for potential improvements to the project.
